みなさんの気合の入ったコンサートレポートを読んでしまうと、かなり自分の書いたものに気恥ずかしさをおぼえるのですが、あんなものでよければどうぞ掲載してください。 ２ヶ月ほど前に同じ会場でLisa Stansfieldのコンサートをやはりオールスタンデイングで見たもので、つい比較してしまいました。Shepherd's Bush Empireはセントラルロンドンにある中規模のコンサート場で、外見は昔の映画にでてくる劇場のような、由緒ありげな所です。今年に入ってからもPaul Wellerや Oasisなんかも演っていたので、比較的１流どころが集まるコンサート会場といえそうです。

こちらのサイトの様子をとく知らなかったため、やや物足りないコンサートレポートになってしまったかとは思いますが、ご容赦ください。本職は(?)RoxyMusic & BryanFerryなので、Ｍｉｄｇｅはずっとさぼってました。９９年に来日したことも全然知りませんでした。ＢＢＣの話も初耳でした。 個人的に今年はＲｏｘｙ再結成で盛り上がっていたのですが、声の全く出なくなったＦｅｒｒｙさんに比べ、Ｍｉｄｇｅはまだまだ声も出てるし、あのシンプルなバンドであれだけ分厚いサウンドが出せるというのは彼の演奏力あってこそなのでしょう。まだまだ第一線のミュージシャンとして活躍してもらいたいと切に願っております。 ちなみに９９年はやっぱり今回同様ウルトラボックスナンバーも演ったんですか？
＞Londoner さん、 ライブレポありがとうございました。 ここのみなさんならソロの曲も楽しめたとは思いますが、 （９９年の来日は大好評でしたし！） UVの曲はライブだとさらに良いですね。 ２５日はＢＢＣで「オペラ座の怪人」コンサートが 放送されたはずですがご覧に（お聞きに？）なりました？ これにMidge Ureが出演しています。 私はファンクラブの会長にお願いしてあります。 こちらもレポできましたら是非！ ありがとうございました。
以下コンサートレポート投稿いたします。僕の日記からの抜粋なのでわかりにくい部分もあるかと思いますがご容赦ください。 ちなみにチケットはチケットマスターというロンドンのチケットぴあみたいなところでネット購入いたしました。 11月22日（木） Midge Ure at Shephards Bush Empire 客の入りは正直いって今ひとつ。Lisa Stansfieldのときがぎゅうぎゅうだったため、どうしてもスカスカに感じる。客層もなんとなく地味なおじさん、おばさんが多いみたい。季節のせいもあるのかもしれないが、地下鉄で見かける、黒か紺の地味な上着を着た人たちがそのまま集まってきたといった風情。前座バンドの代わりにステージに大きなスクリーンが置いてあり、おもむろに過去のＭｉｄｇｅの映像が始まった。プロモビデオやテレビ出演時のフィルム、インタビューなどが年代も種類も関係なく,素人がでたらめに編集したように羅列されていたが、昔から映像に力を注いできたＭｉｄｇｅらしい試みで、ファンなら十分楽しめるものであった。 そしてスクリーン撤去後Ｍｉｄｇｅ登場。黒スーツに黒シャツ、髪は薄くなった頭をごまかすためか、カチカチに刈り上げている。バンドはギター兼ボーカルのＭｉｄｇｅの他、ベース、ドラムス、キーボードのみ、というシンプルな構成。一曲目はきいたことあるけどタイトルが思い出せない曲（cold cold heartとか歌ってた）。その後もソロ曲が続く。途中で写真を撮ったら、係員がやってきて、裏に連れて行かれ写真を消去させられた。Ｌｉｓａのときは撮り放題だったのに。やっぱり映像にうるさいＭｉｄｇｅのコンサートだからか。中盤も Fade to gray, One small day以外はソロ曲ばかりでなんだか退屈、と思っていたのだが、後半怒涛のUltravox特集。Lament, Vienna, Love’s a great adventure, If I was, Hymn、で一回引っ込んだあとアンコールはThe Voice, Dancing with tears in my eyesで終了。15年前渋谷で見たときはソロにこだわり過ぎでUltravoxナンバーは Sleep Walkしかやらなかったのとは大違いの大サービスであった。さすがRewindと題したツアーだけのことはある。15年前は無かったツアーパンフレットもゲット。なかなか満足のゆくライブであった。

はじめまして。ロンドン在住の者です。絶妙のタイミングでこのサイトに辿り着きました。 明日ＭｉｄｇｅＵｒｅのコンサートに行ってきます。オールスタンデイングなのでカメラが持ち込めればいい絵が撮れるかも。 とりあえず本日はごあいさつまで。後日コンサートレポートを送らせていただきます。
どうも、毎度です。 ＣＡＮのギタリストのカローリーさんが、お亡くなりに なったと、FOXX＠JAPANさんのHPのBBSで見てがっかりしました。 ただでさえ、NEU！のＣＤ入手して喜んでいただけに、 コニーもいないし、ＣＡＮも手に入れたいとおもっていた矢先のことで、 フォックスさんと、ミッジユーローさんは、告別式に行かれたのでしょうか。 話は変りますが、新作のベストアルバム、１枚だけ売ってたのですが、あとで 買おうと思ったら、もうなかった。（笑） ちなみに先に手に持ったのは、ポールマッカートニーの新作 ちなみに、１週間前に入手したのは、遅らせながら、ニューオーダーの新作と モー娘の新作”ミスタームーンライト”だった。（笑） それでは、このへんで、おやすみなさい・・・・←なんなんだ（爆）

CDの音飛びが話題になってますね。 これってもしかしてCD個体とプレーヤー個体同士の固有の相性もあるみたい。 酷いのになるとまったくプレイできなくなったり。 因みに小生の今度買ったポータブルのプレーヤーと、去年買ったリマスターの 「ラメント」が相性悪くてよく音飛びしまっす。 皆さんの意見も聞かせて下さいな。

■Midge大佐さま ＞CDウォークマンでも飛びますか？ ＞それともマスターのノイズの事でしょうか？ 仕事しながら聞いてたので他は気付かなく、とりあえず結局最初の一ケ所だけでした。 「ONE SMALL DAY IN LONDON」の一曲目「MAN PF THE TWO WORLD」の冒頭で、 CDの最初から27～28秒くらいの所(ウチのCDラジオには時間表示が無いのでいい加減ですが) で必ず一度一瞬切れ、曲の少し先から再生されます。 もしかすると、これはマスター元々のもの...？
＞ネオUVファン茶 さん 私も、土曜日に黄金で危うく買う所でした。 でも、未発表曲もないし、なぜかジャケにはUV#2の４人の写真が・・・ SPVはちゃんとしたレコード会社のはずなのに・・・ ブックレットの様子など教えてください。 （ああ土曜日にRXXX XXXPに行っていれば・・・）
＞Midge大佐/管理人補佐さま ＞でもなんで日本公演ではプログラムを売らなかったのだろうか・・・ 日本公演は、キャパの小さい日本青年館で１日こっきりだったので 全員が買っても数が知れてて儲からなかったからではないでしょうか？ バンドエイドの主役の片割れなので、話題性があると思って、 UDOが招聘してくれただけでも喜びましょう。
＞慰安さん改め五食人さん、 ＞大佐どの、ひまな時でいいんで教えて下さいね。青年館のライブ。 このツアーではやってますね。Living In The Past。 憶えてないなぁ・・・ でもなんで日本公演ではプログラムを売らなかったのだろうか・・・

＞moriyさん、 ＞ただ、残念なことに、ウチのDVDプレーヤーでは3枚ともディスクエラーが出て聞けませんでした(T-T) 私のメインで使っているプレーヤーもCDRは聴けませんし、見られません。 邪外さんの指摘のように機種によっては再生出来ないって書いてありますね。 ＞どうにか再生出来てるようですが、いきなり一ケ所、音飛びしてます...。 私の持ってるCDRは飛びませんよ。 CDウォークマンでも飛びますか？ それともマスターのノイズの事でしょうか？

あと、 ReverationとIngenuityの2枚が、2枚組となっているCDと、 ReverationとIngenuityの中から選曲されたコンピ盤（1枚もの）を 見つけました。 多分、殆どの人が興味無いと思いますので、明日以降にUPしますね・・・。 # 今日は力尽きました・・・。(^^; でも、Revelationは長い間入手困難になっていたから、この再発は嬉しいかも。(^^)
遂に聴けました。(^^) 個人的な感想ですが、1stソロのMetamatic + Kraftwerk といった感じの雰囲気だと思いました。 まだ聴き始めたばかりですので・・・。 http://www.k-os.biz/~yasu/ultravox/disco/JohnFoxx.html#ThePleasuresOfElectricity ＞moriyさん もう既に買いに行かれたとは、我々の仲間になってしまったのも同然です。（笑） CD-Rブートですが、多分、moriyさんのDVDプレイヤーはCD-Rに対応してない機種かもしれません。 # 機種によってはカタログに「CD－R再生不可」と書かれていたりします。 あと、高級機種だと逆に細かいノイズを拾ってしまって音飛びしたりして聴けない場合も あるようです。なので、テケトーなCDプレイヤーのほうがいいかもしれません。 それから、カーオーディオのようなフロントローディング式（CDを飲み込む方式）の プレイヤーだと、信号面がモロイため、ペロッと剥がれてしまう場合もありますので 注意が必要です。
■Midge大佐さま 早速、今日の午後「DUST an' DREAMS」に行き、 トップページにあった3枚のライブ盤を手に入れてきました。 教えて頂きありがとうございましたm(_"_)m ただ、残念なことに、ウチのDVDプレーヤーでは3枚ともディスクエラーが出て聞けませんでした(T-T) たぶん、CD-R(?)との相性が良く無いんでしょう...。 別のハンディタイプのCDラジオで聞いたら(今、聞きながら書いてます)、 どうにか再生出来てるようですが、いきなり一ケ所、音飛びしてます...。 ブート盤ってこんなモンなんですかね...。 しかしDVDプレーヤーの方は、(安物ですが)マランツのアンプ＆JBSスピーカーに繋いであるので、 そっちで聞けないのはショックデカいです。 仮に取り替えて貰っても同じでしょうね...3枚とも「当たって」るってことは。 ヘッドフォン(CDラジオのスピーカーでは音が悪過ぎなんで(^^;)から聞こえてくる音は、 まぁ、そこそこ聞けるので残念です。 でも、やっぱりUVのライブはかっちょ良いです。 ■邪外さま と言う訳で、久し振りになんとかかんとかUVの(僕的な)新音源を聞けました(^^) このサイトの情報は凄いですねぇ....(^^; 最近、あまりCDを買って無かったのですが、ヤバそうです...(笑) ちなみに今日行った「DUST an' DREAMS」には、JAPANの最後のツアーとかもあり、 そっちにも(当時行ったライブだったんで)手をだしそうでした.....(^^; 最近はただでさえ、昔、お金が無くて買えなかった'80sのCDしか買ってないのに...(笑) それでは。

BBCのテレビ番組"This is your life"のMidge Ureが主役の放送を 見ました。これは今年の３月２８日に放送になった番組です。 この番組は１人にスターにスポットをあててその人の業績を 振り返るような番組です。 （新譜の話も出てます。あの人は今的なものでは無いですよ！） で、内容が凄いです!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!（興奮気味：爆） なにしろ３０分間Midge Ureの人生について関係者を交えて 語ってしまうのです。 Midge Ureの為に集まった豪華ゲスト陣はっ！！ ・Bob Geldof ・Howard Jones ・Mark King(Level 42) ・Rusty Egan(Rich Kids) ・Scott Gorham(Thin Lizzy) ・Paul Young ・Spandau Ballet *Video ・George Martin *Video などなど・・・ しかも両親、兄弟、奥さんと娘達４人の総出演です！ まずはBob Geldofがいきなりスタジオに現れて Midgeは「なんで？？？」といった感じのところに 司会者が現れて番組「This is your life」と種明かし！ なんだー！というところでスタジオへ。 クイズ・ミリオネアのパロディなども飛び出して 番組はMidge Ure一色！！（当たり前ですね・・） 感心したり大笑いして見てしまいました。 デビュー前のデモが聴けたりでホントに良い番組です。 今度のOFFでJohnちゃんライブの後にでも流しましょう！ お楽しみに！！！

Over the last few years there have been many fan-organised "Voxgate" conventions, usually fairly small in nature, growing spontaneously from fans travelling to shows. There has been a demand from fans for a larger, more official event with involvement from Midge for some time, and the 21st anniversary of Vienna's chart success provides the excuse we needed! It was decided earlier this year to see if the idea appealed to you, and judging by the response the answer, clearly was YES!! WHAT WILL HAPPEN? FRIDAY JANUARY 25th 2002 There are a variety of events planned over the 3 days. We start on Friday evening at around 6:30, with an informal reception where you get chance to meet each other, chat, drink and say hello to Midge! This is followed by the first evening's entertainment - an acoustic show with Midge and Troy Donockley (supported by Paul Claxton) that will run until about 11pm. SATURDAY JANUARY 26th 2002 On Saturday, we start at around 10:30, with a musicians' workshop, hosted by Mark and Steve Brzezicki of Big Country fame. Troy will astonish you with his Uillean pipes (and maybe a few amazing magic tricks!!). You will get chance to ask them questions and generally find out how it's done! This will be followed by Midge (possibly with a special guest) giving a talk about videos and production as well as the story of how the classic shoots happened, with a big video screen as illustration. Want to know how something happened? How did the band come up with the idea for the Dancing video?..Now's your chance! Want to get something signed? Midge will be available for signing stuff after the talk! Next up is a recording workshop, hosted by Roland (musical equipment supremos) & Danny Mitchell (The Messengers).The will talk about how the recording process happens, illustrated with the multitracks from the 'Move Me' album. This is an interactive event, with you getting chance to have a play with technology! Not your sort of thing? No need to worry, there's going to be a film room showing videos of some of of the films/TV shows that Midge has written music for over the years! This will have a "rolling" program, so you will get several chances to catch stuff. Saturday evening sees the reformed BREATHE band (with Troy Donockley) performing the songs from the 'Glorious Noise' live album. In a blast from the past, the support tonight will be The Messengers!!! A night to remember!...and we've not finished yet - the gig is followed by.......wait for it folks...... THE BLITZ CLUB, hosted by Rusty Egan!!!!.......a chance to dance until the wee small hours! SUNDAY JANUARY 26th 2002 Sunday morning sees things take on a slightly more relaxed (in deference to all those with hang overs!) starting at 10:30 with a Pop Quiz, where you get chance to win some smashing prizes. After lunch, Midge will be doing a "Question and Answer session". Over the weekend, you can fill out cards with questions on, and Midge will pick a selection (a bit like on the Out Alone Tour). This will be followed by Midge and some friends (Scott Gorham- Thin Lizzy, plus other special guests! talking about songwriting and strumming away on acoustic guitars! The weekend's climax with be another full band gig, this time with the special guests from the afternoon, so expect some Thin Lizzy and other interesting material!! 早速管理人様にご反応いただき恐縮でございます。 番組はケーブルTVとしてのMTVチャンネルなので、 一般の方は。。です。 毎weekday1130－1200で毎回テーマが決まってます。 ちなみに今日はディスコ特集です。 mtvjapan.comとやらで検索できると思います。 毎日VIDEOに撮っており、それを一生物にするため 今はとても高いDVDレコーダ（10万円！）を 真剣に買おうかと悩んでいるくらいです。 でも1.2回はのがしてるので、ABCを撮り損なってるのが くやしいです。 一部の音楽業界の知り合いの中でも 話題沸騰中の番組です。 ほんと内容は憲章さんがからんでいるだけあり、 強烈物です。 おっと、お答えを忘れるところでした。 VIENNA（スペルはあってるかしら？）でした。 強烈すぎて頭から離れず浅い眠りで今が眠いです。 なにかお手伝いすることがあればご連絡ください。

こんにちは。いやあ、感動しました。HPが存在していて、 それも40000アクセスに近いなんて。参加できて光栄です。 最近MTVで（ケーブル）2001年10月より新（？）番組で クラッシックMTVとの名のもとに昔のビデオを流してくれます。 それでULTRAVOXさん達をみることができました。涙物でした。 しかも体が覚えており、歌うこともできました。 そうそう番組がMINI（車）提供で初回放送は大貫憲章さんも 参加してるのでUK系の息がかかってます。 なので超お勧め番組です。 ほとんどビデオで取っておいてます。 ちなみに昨日はECHO&BUNNY,STRAWBERRY SWITCHBLADE,CUREさん方でした。 なんかこの感動を伝えたくて掲示板に参加してみました。 この辺で失礼いたします。
